Basics – Kickstart Your Figma Journey
  • In the Basics module, you'll kickstart your Figma journey by learning the essentials - from setting up your workspace with frames, layers, and pages to working with shapes, text, and colors. You'll explore grids, layouts, and alignment tools, while also getting hands-on with components, assets, and simple prototyping. By the end of this phase, you’ll be comfortable creating clickable screens and collaborating in real time with your peers.
  • Moving into the Intermediate level, you'll dive deeper into Figma's powerful features like auto-layout for responsive design and variants to build scalable design systems. You'll learn how to work with images, icons, and plugins, create interactive prototypes with smart animations and transitions, and wireframe apps and websites effectively. Plus, you'll understand how to use feedback loops, comments, and version control to make your designs team-ready.
  • Finally, in the Advanced section, you'll level up to pro-level skills. This includes building advanced design systems, creating complex prototypes with flows, overlays, and conditional logic, and ensuring your work is accessible and inclusive. You'll also explore how to integrate FigJam for workshops and UX flows, leverage AI-powered plugins, and seamlessly hand off your designs to developers using dev mode.
